Welcome to Montevideo, Uruguay! This was our first time exploring the city, and we decided to set out on foot straight from the cruise port to see what makes Uruguay’s capital so special. We walked through some of Montevideo’s most beautiful and historic spots — starting at the port and visiting Plaza Iglesia San Francisco, Plaza Zabala, and the lively Sarandí Street filled with local shops and street art. From there, we stopped by Teatro Solís, admired Plaza Independencia and the stunning Palacio Salvo, and finally made our way to La Rambla for ocean views before ending the day at Mercado del Puerto for some local food and atmosphere. Along the way, I shared some of my favorite photos and moments from our walk — this city truly surprised us with its charm, calm energy, and architecture. If you’re visiting Montevideo on a cruise or just planning a day in the city, this vlog gives a glimpse of what you can experience all within walking distance from the port. 📸 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more travel vlogs, cruise adventures, and city walks around South America! #Montevideo #Uruguay #TravelVlog #MontevideoVlog #MontevideoUruguay #CruiseVlog #WalkingTour #PlazaIndependencia #PalacioSalvo #MercadoDelPuerto #SouthAmericaTravel
