Instead of flying home we chose something completely different! A transpacific cruise across the Pacific Ocean. After 8 unforgettable days in Tokyo, we boarded Royal Caribbean’s Ovation of the Seas for a journey that included Mount Fuji, an overnight in Osaka, the World’s Fair and then 11 straight sea days before reaching LA. This isn’t a highlight reel cruise. This is what really happens when the ocean becomes the destination. In this video, I’m sharing: • Our stops in Mt Fuji and Osaka! • What 11 sea days actually feel like, mentally and physically • Who this kind of cruise is perfect for and who should absolutely skip it • The unexpected moments that made this journey unforgettable (shout out to the Japanese Coast Guard! 😳) • The honest pros and cons of repositioning cruises • And whether I would do it again 🤔 If you’ve ever wondered whether crossing an ocean by ship is wildly worth it or wildly not for you, this video will answer that question. I’d love to hear from you in the comments. Would you cruise home instead of flying? And if travel runs through your veins like it does mine, don’t forget to subscribe.
