Staying on the Queen Mary before our Carnival Firenze Cruise with cabin tours.

We stayed aboard the historic HMS Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA before our cruise on the Carnival Firenze ported right next door. Talking about being next to the port for embarkation day, the Queen Mary is as close as you can get. If you love cruising why not stay in a piece of living history for the cruising than the Queen Mary. I recall going on to the Queen Mary with my family for dinner in their restaurant and shopping in the little English community outside (now used for Halloween Haunt). We've gone to the Halloween Haunt here many times and loved it every time. It has always been said that the swimming pool and engine room was haunted (we've never noticed anything) but it is definitely vintage holding a huge piece of cruising-nautical history. She also made a huge contribution in WWII history transporting soldiers into the European theater. This was our second stay aboard this amazing vessel but this visit was after it's change in ownership. In this video we show what our King sized cabin with adjacent twin.
