While we loved the quiet location and practical layout, we also discovered some interesting problems, including a very narrow space beside the bed, a virtual balcony that wouldn't turn off, some bathroom maintenance issues and a few electrical problems. In this review, we cover: 🛳️ **Cabin 11703 – Location and Layout:** Why we liked being towards the back of the ship, despite the long walk along the corridor. 🛏️ **Bed Comfort and Access:** Royal Caribbean's firm mattresses, requesting a mattress topper, and why we'd consider having this room configured with two single beds rather than a queen. 🚿 **Bathroom and Shower Problems:** Low water pressure, very hot water, a troublesome shower head and some maintenance issues we noticed. 🔌 **Power and Technology:** USB ports that didn't work, television problems and the power outlets available in the cabin. 🌊 **Virtual Balcony:** How well the screen worked, picture quality, and why we'd recommend packing clips to keep the curtains closed at night. ❄️ **Air Conditioning and Fridge:** Two things that actually worked surprisingly well! 🧳 **Storage and Comfort:** Extra hangers, fluffy fresh towels and the helpful cabin steward. And most importantly... **would we recommend Cabin 11703 after spending a week in it?** This is our honest experience of this particular cabin during our sailing. If you're researching Anthem of the Seas interior cabins, virtual balconies or Royal Caribbean cabin layouts, we hope this review helps you make an informed choice. **CRUISE DETAILS** 🚢 Ship: Anthem of the Seas ⚓ Cruise Line: Royal Caribbean 🛏️ Cabin: 11703 – Interior Stateroom with Virtual Balcony 📍 Location: Deck 11, towards the aft 🌏 Itinerary: Sydney to Airlie Beach, Australia **CHAPTERS** 00:00 Intro – Our Week in Cabin 11703 00:25 Air Conditioning – Did It Stay Cool? 00:46 Bathroom Review 01:05 Shower Head Problems 01:26 Hot Water & Low Water Pressure 02:00 Bathroom Maintenance Issues 02:17 Fresh Towels & Cabin Steward Service 02:48 Power Outlets & Broken USB Ports 03:22 Makeup Mirror Lighting 03:35 TV Problems & HDMI Access 04:20 Hairdryer & A Surprisingly Cold Fridge 04:41 Virtual Balcony Picture Quality 05:00 The Problem With Virtual Balconies 05:30 VERY Narrow Bed Access! 06:56 Bedside Power & Cabin Practicalities 07:13 Hard Beds & Mattress Topper Tips 07:47 Cabin 11703 Location – Quiet Aft Cabin 08:29 The Long Walk To Our Cabin 08:58 Final Verdict – Would We Recommend It? **JOIN DEB & MATT CHAT** We share our real cruising experiences, honest reviews, cruise tips and travel adventures, along with our regular cruise news discussions.
