They love racing alongside the boat, and it's one of the most magical sights you'll see. 🐬 After about an hour on the water, it's time to drop your lines in search of snapper, grouper, and whatever else is biting that day. If you're like me and don't exactly enjoy touching fish, don't worry! The friendly crew is always happy to bait your hook, remove your catch, and help every step of the way. They make the experience fun and stress-free for everyone. You never know what incredible wildlife you'll encounter out here and we spotted a huge sea turtle cruising through the Gulf! On the ride back to the marina, another show begins. Watch for the pelicans! They know exactly when the fishing boats return because it's feeding time. As the crew cleans everyone's catch at the dock, the pelicans patiently wait nearby for their own seafood feast. It's nature's version of an all-you-can-eat buffet and a fun sight to watch! Fun fact: Southwest Florida is home to some of the most productive fishing waters in the Gulf of Mexico, making Fort Myers Beach a favorite destination for anglers looking to reel in snapper, grouper, sharks, and many other local species throughout the year.
