The Canada Place Sails of Light are lit pink October 3 and 4 for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. An estimated 32,400 women and 300 men in Canada will be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2026, and one in eight Canadian women will face it in her lifetime. The five-year survival rate is now 90%, and the death rate has nearly halved since the early 1990s. 💗 DONATE Donations to the Vancouver run stay open after race day and fund research, clinical trials, support programs and advocacy, including the push to lower the screening age to 40.
