What's In My Suitcase? | Pack With Me for a 28-Day Cruise

We're boarding the Norwegian Jade for 28 days straight, sailing Vancouver to Tokyo through Alaska, then Tokyo to Seoul on a back-to-back. That means rainy Alaska in September, long sea days, and ports across Japan and South Korea, all out of one suitcase. This isn't a how-to-pack lecture. It's exactly what's in the bag and why it made the cut. 🧳 How One Suitcase Works for 28 Days We packed about one week of clothes. Between our Club Balcony cabin's laundry bag on each sailing and a free bag each through NCL Latitudes status, we get six loads of laundry on this trip. That's what makes it possible. 🌧️ Alaska Gear Waterproof coat vacuum sealed down to about an inch, waterproof gloves for an ATV excursion in Ketchikan, a wool Buff, waterproof On Cloud shoes, and an auto-open umbrella with UV protection. 🧴 Cabin Extras We Always Bring Foldable laundry bag, magnetic hooks, suction razor holders, Downy Wrinkle Releaser (no irons onboard), odor busters for the closet, car air fresheners for the bathroom, hotel slippers, and sink laundry detergent. ✈️ International Travel Items Universal travel adapters with USB-A and USB-C, compression socks for the long flight home from Seoul, and our own Tylenol and basic meds, since acetaminophen can be hard to find by that name overseas. 🎒 Bags on Bags Ziploc bags in every size, a packable shopping bag, a Matador 16L packable day pack, a Lululemon crossbody for around the ship, and a spare tote for the flight home. What do you pack for long cruises that's actually worth the suitcase space? Tell us in the comments. 🔔 We're trying to hit 1,000 subscribers by the end of the year.
