We Met Kristoff! 🇭🇰 Hong Kong Disneyland Day 2 | Big Buddha, Jungle Cruise & Our Verdict
Day two in Hong Kong — and it’s a very different pace 🇭🇰✨ We start the morning outside the parks with the Ngong Ping 360 cable car, soaring over Lantau Island on the way to the Big Buddha. Big views, big energy, and a very calm start before heading back to Disneyland. After smashing the major attractions on day one, today is all about slowing down and soaking it in. We try the iconic Donald Duck ice creams, hunt down Kristoff for a selfie in World of Frozen, and settle into show mode with Festival of the Lion King, Moana: A Homecoming Celebration, and Frozen Playhouse in the Woods. Then comes one of the biggest surprises of the trip: arguably the best Jungle Cruise in the world, followed immediately by possibly the worst version of the Disneyland Railroad 😬. We snack on extravagant Moana-inspired banana fritters, enjoy dinner at Royal Banquet Hall, and obviously make time to re-ride Mystic Manor — still our favourite attraction in Hong Kong and honestly one of Disney’s best dark rides, full stop. We close out the night in Tomorrowland with Hyperspace Mountain, Iron Man Experience, and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Nano Battle, before doing one last emotional lap of the gift shops to check out the Hong Kong-exclusive Disney merch. Finally, we give our honest verdict on Hong Kong Disneyland — what makes it special, what surprised us, and would we go again? This is my second-last Disney park in a six-month quest to visit every Disney park on Earth. Next week, we head to Shanghai Disneyland — and the challenge is officially complete 🏁✨
