Zero Halliburton Heritage 34L vs Sterling Pacific 40L: The Ultimate Aluminum Carry-On Comparison
“This video is part of the rebuilding of my channel after it was hacked. Thank you for supporting independent cruise content.” Two icons in the luggage business. Two philosophies. One decision that actually depends on how you travel. In this video, I compare the Zero Halliburton Heritage Continental 34L aluminum carry-on vs the Sterling Pacific 40L aluminum carry-on—both “best of the best” in ultra-luxury aluminum luggage, but built with very different priorities. I break down what matters in real-world travel: size & airline reality, weight, build quality, trolley stability, wheels/casters, weight distribution, interior organization, locks, durability, repairability, and customer service—so you can confidently choose the one that fits your travel style. I’m Gary Tilkin, an ultra-luxury cruise, travel, and travel product reviewer with decades on the road (and a lot of hard-earned lessons about what fails—and what lasts). Full transparency: Zero Halliburton provided a promotional discount, and Sterling Pacific provided this carry-on as a complimentary review unit. My opinions are based on real-world use under real-world conditions—detailed, fair, and focused on long-term value. Which would you choose—and why? Drop your pick in the comments and let’s compare notes. Travel well & enjoy every moment.
