Norwegian Bliss • Embarkation Day • Mexican Riviera Cruise • Los Angeles World Cruise Terminal • San Pedro, CA 🚢✨ Day 1 of our 7‑day Mexican Riviera cruise on the Norwegian Bliss starts with… me arriving solo at the port 😂. Don’t worry—Gloria and Colton didn’t abandon me. We actually dropped them (and ALL the luggage) off a couple of hours earlier so things would be easier. Pro tip: tag your bags with the NCL luggage tags before you arrive. The porters grabbed ours instantly and told us they’d show up in the hallway near our cabin later. Zero hauling. Zero stress. 🙌 As my Uber rolled past the USS Iowa battleship—aka the “Battleship of Presidents”—I felt like I was pulling up to history and vacation at the same time. Then the Norwegian Bliss came into view… and wow, she makes the Iowa look tiny. This ship is HUGE. 🛳️⚓ Inside the terminal, security was airport‑light. One fun surprise: you can bring sodas onboard, but they MUST be in your checked bags. I learned that the hard way at the metal detector. 😅 Once onboard, the first stop is your Muster Station. Took us maybe 20 seconds. Easiest safety check ever. We’d watched a bunch of “cruise hacks” videos beforehand, including one that said: “Go to Guest Services and ask for free stuff.” Well… the only freebie was a single deck of cards. Not even NCL‑branded. But hey, closed mouths don’t get fed. 🃏🤣 After exploring the pool deck, we walked the cabin hallways looking for our suitcases (they line them up outside the rooms). Our balcony cabin had a sweet surprise waiting: a cupcake with Happy Birthday Gloria and some fat, juicy chocolate‑covered strawberries. 🍓🎉 Dinner was at Teppanyaki, one of NCL’s specialty restaurants—and worth every penny. The chef sang everything from current hits to old‑school classics, did tricks, tossed food, and had the whole table singing along. Colton even got free bites off the grill. And because the chef started late, they gave us free Virgin Wasabi cocktails—amazing, especially since we didn’t have a drink package. 🍹🔥 I had the seafood combo (jumbo shrimp, scallops, calamari). Gloria had her picks. Colton had a hamburger from the kids’ menu. Everything came with miso soup, seaweed salad, fried rice, and veggies. We were stuffed. No dessert needed. We wrapped the night with a “late‑night buffet run” because… well… it was calling our name. And one of the crew members sang a song you just have to hear. 🎤😂 This is Gloria and Colton’s first cruise, my first in over 10 years, and the start of a whole series of videos from our Mexican Riviera birthday cruise. We chose this itinerary because we live in Mexico—so if Gloria got seasick, we could literally hop off in Puerto Vallarta and drive home. 😆 Stay tuned—more Bliss adventures coming! 🇲🇽🌴✨ 00:00 Passing Battleship IOWA 00:38 Arriving at the Port of Los Angeles (San Pedro) 01:08 Luggage Drop-Off 01:14 Welcome to BK Adventure 01:17 Carnival Ship Anchored in Cabo San Lucas 01:35 Check-In Area at Port of LA 01:55 First Look at Norwegian Bliss 02:13 Embarkation 02:41 Finding the Muster Station 03:27 Muster Check-In Review 03:58 Main Atrium – 678 Ocean Place (Deck 6) 04:54 Main Pool Deck & Aqua Park (Deck 16) 05:48 Walking to the Cabin 05:51 Balcony Cabin Tour 07:07 Sailaway 07:47 Specialty Dinner at Teppanyaki 08:13 Dinner Show – Singing 11:37 Dinner Review 11:56 Guest Services – Atrium (Deck 6) 12:18 Late-Night Singing – Garden Café (Deck 15) 12:38 Thanks for Watching 12:42 Subscribe for More 13:08 Like & Support BK Adventures #NorwegianBliss #NorwegianCruiseLine #NCL #MexicanRivieraCruise #CruiseVlog #EmbarkationDay #CruiseTips #CruiseLife #CruiseVacation #SanPedroPort #USSIowa #TravelVlog #FamilyTravel #BirthdayCruise #Teppanyaki #CruiseFood #TravelMexico #CruiseShipTour #NCLBliss #CruiseSeries
