In this episode, we make our way to Campbellford, Ontario, where we spend a few days exploring the town, checking out the famous Dooher’s Bakery, and enjoying one of our favorite parts of traveling by boat; discovering places we probably never would have visited otherwise. Then it’s time to untie the lines and continue along the Trent-Severn toward Hastings, Ontario. What we thought was going to be another beautiful day on the water takes a turn when the weather moves in and we find ourselves cruising through a major rainstorm. Between the small towns, seemingly endless locks, beautiful scenery, and unpredictable weather, this stretch of the Trent-Severn Waterway gives us a little bit of everything.
