Singapore is a truly remarkable city, but it wasn't until our second day here that everything finally started to make sense. What began as a quest to see Singapore's biggest-ever drone and fireworks spectacular soon turned into something completely unexpected. As we explored Marina Bay, we started uncovering clues hiding in plain sight. From the Merlion and the original shoreline outside The Fullerton Hotel to the incredible story of how Singapore reclaimed land from the sea, we began to understand what transformed a small fishing village into one of the world's most admired cities. Join us as we explore Marina Bay Sands, take in the breathtaking views from the SkyPark Observation Deck, wander through the spectacular Gardens by the Bay, encounter dinosaurs in the Jurassic World Experience inside the Cloud Forest, and enjoy the stunning Sakura cherry blossom display in the Flower Dome. 🌸🦖 That evening, we headed back to Marina Bay to witness the record-breaking Disney Adventure drone and fireworks celebrations. Lewis thought leaving the comfort of our hotel for the waterfront would create the perfect atmosphere. Bonnie wasn't convinced... and as 50,000 people descended on Marina Bay, we soon discovered she may have been right! By the end of the day, however, it wasn't the fireworks that stayed with us. It was a deeper appreciation of Singapore itself — and the surprising secret that made everything finally make sense.
