Not all Junior Suites on Royal Caribbean’s Rhapsody of the Seas are created equal — and cabin 8094 proves it. We’re spending four consecutive weeks aboard Rhapsody of the Seas, changing cabins every week. For three of those weeks, we booked guaranteed Junior Suites to save money — which means Royal Caribbean chooses the cabin for us. In week one, our guarantee landed us in huge accessible Junior Suite 8550. In week two, we chose a Sunset Junior Suite with an enormous aft balcony. Now, in week three, we’ve been assigned Junior Suite 8094. Inside, cabin 8094 is very similar to the Sunset Junior Suite we had last week. There’s plenty of storage, a spacious sitting area, a bathtub, and all the extra room we’ve enjoyed in Rhapsody’s Junior Suites. But the balcony is a completely different story. A large section of the ship’s superstructure creates a floor-to-ceiling steel wall that significantly limits the panoramic view from part of the balcony.
