Raton Honduras, local grapes
🍇 When you think you packed EVERYTHING in your first-aid kit… but nope! 😂 Apparently, these local grapes are used to make wine, so of course we had to try them! 🍇 Unfortunately, they were NOT for me. 😅 Almost immediately after trying them, my throat started feeling scratchy and itchy, and I thought, “Ohhh no… this is NOT good!” 😳 They were organic and had this fuzzy texture that I really wasn’t a fan of. The good news? He said they make an amazing wine from these grapes… unfortunately, we didn’t get to try the wine this time! 🍷😂 Thankfully, I’m part of a cruise Facebook group because a new friend came to the rescue with some Benadryl! 🙌💊 Definitely an interesting tasting experience, but I think I’ll stick to drinking the wine instead of eating the grapes. 😂🍷 And apparently, my first-aid kit needs an allergy-medicine upgrade! 🤦♀️ A special shoutout to Andrew Connor, our amazing private tour guide for the day—and a local soccer legend! ⚽️👏Thanks for showing us around, sharing your knowledge, and making the experience even more memorable! 🌴🍇🍷Definitely one of those local connections that makes traveling so much more fun! ❤️✈️ Tip of the day: Skip booking with cruise line and hire a local! #CruiseFacebookGroup #TravelFails #LocalGrapes #TravelByeTiffany #1monthatsea
