Mohokoi, the beautiful 70′ Wayne Tipper Motor Yacht, arrived to TYB a few weeks back for a multi week docking, receiving a gorgeous recoat of Altex No5 Sea Green antifoul, a topside repaint, plus running gear and stabilizer maintenance. She’s a true gem of a timber cruiser, and favorite amongst the shipwrights and trades here at The Yard Brisbane! ‘Mohokoi’ is a true long-range passagemaker, featuring a carvel planked construction of spotted gum and Oregon. Powered by twin Gardner 6LXCT engines, she cruises effortlessly at 8.5 knots while consuming just 40 liters per hour, offering an impressive range of 4,000 nautical miles. Her exceptional performance is further enhanced by Naiad hydraulic stabilizers, Wesmar bow thruster, and static stabilizers for use at anchored, ensuring a smooth experience in all conditions.
