$100/Day Casino Challenge Gone Wrong on Carnival Luminosa 😱 I Lost $300 in MINUTES!
Join me for a 10-night Carnival Luminosa cruise from San Francisco to Alaska as I take on another $100/day casino challenge! 🎰🚢 This sailing started with one of the most spectacular sail-aways anywhere—with Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge providing an incredible backdrop as we left beautiful San Francisco for Alaska. I started the challenge with a $1,000 bankroll, but I also had $300 in Free Play from my casino offer. On Day 1, I turned that $300 of free money into an impressive $478, giving my bankroll a nice boost. Then… I made a HUGE mistake. 😳 I was playing a 5¢ denomination slot at the minimum $4 bet and had built my credits to more than $300. Somehow, I accidentally hit the MAX BET button and started betting $40 PER SPIN! I didn’t realize what happened until I looked down and saw only $21 left on the machine. I never hit a big win during those 7–9 spins, and just like that, approximately $300 was gone in minutes. 😱 Unfortunately, I was never able to recover from that mistake. I managed to stretch the bankroll through 6 of the 10 days, but only had one winning day, finishing that day just $70 ahead. And the results got even more interesting: this turned out to be my worst average points-per-day performance on a Carnival cruise in my last 12 Carnival sailings. (I didn’t start tracking my Carnival casino points until 2024.)
