P&O ARVIA — FROM STEEL TO SHIP | THE INCREDIBLE BUILD OF ARVIA 🛳️ Ever wondered how a cruise ship like P&O Arvia comes to life? This is Arvia’s incredible journey from the very beginning of her construction to the finished ship. Built by MEYER WERFT in Papenburg, Germany, Arvia began taking shape from thousands of individual pieces of steel before being transformed into one of P&O Cruises’ most spectacular ships. Watch as she grows deck by deck, with enormous sections carefully constructed and assembled, until the ship we recognise today begins to emerge. And then comes the incredible SkyDome… Piece by piece, this spectacular glass structure is constructed and carefully installed, creating one of Arvia’s most recognisable features. It’s incredible to see the craftsmanship, engineering, creativity and sheer scale involved in building a modern cruise ship. From the first pieces of steel… To the final touches… From the shipyard… To the water… And eventually out towards the open sea. 🌊 This is the making of P&O Arvia. 🛳️ Arvia officially joined the P&O Cruises fleet in December 2022 and is the sister ship of Iona. At around 345 metres long and 184,700 tonnes, she is an incredible feat of modern shipbuilding. Which part of Arvia’s construction amazed you the most? 👇 ❤️ If you love cruise ships, P&O Cruises and everything cruise-related, make sure you subscribe to Beyond the Deck and follow us on our journeys. #PAndOCruises #POArvia #Arvia #CruiseShip #CruiseShips #CruiseLife #Cruising #CruiseHoliday #CruiseTravel #CruiseLovers #CruiseAddict #CruiseCommunity #ShipBuilding #Shipbuilding #MeyerWerft #SkyDome #POCruises #PAndOFleet #CruiseTok #CruiseYouTube #CruiseVlog #CruiseContent #CruiseFan #CruiseFans #CruiseVacation #CruiseShipLovers #Travel #TravelYouTube #BeyondTheDeck
