We take one of the first tenders ashore to make the most of our day, exploring this tiny island on foot before climbing to the summit of its extinct volcanic peak for spectacular panoramic views over the crystal-clear waters and our cruise ship anchored offshore. After wandering through the friendly local village and enjoying a refreshing fresh coconut, we continue exploring the island's quieter beaches before spending hours snorkelling amongst colourful tropical fish in the warm turquoise waters. As Crown Princess departs paradise, the weather takes a dramatic turn as we begin our two-day voyage across the Tasman Sea towards New Zealand. Unfortunately, both of us experience a few health setbacks during the crossing, but we also show what life is like on sea days, from relaxing in The Sanctuary and enjoying cocktails around the ship to meeting the talented entertainment cast and watching another fantastic theatre production.
