Joe Rossi remembers taking a 45-day cruise with his family aboard Matson's S.S. Mariposa in 1969, when he was just 12 years old. The cruise was from Los Angeles to Bora Bora, Papeete, Rarotonga, Auckland, and Sydney, before returning to California via Fiji, American Samoa and Honolulu. back.
