Carnival Sunrise Full Muster Drill: What It Was Really Like
On our Carnival Sunrise sailing, we had to complete a full muster safety drill and it took about 45 minutes from the early announcements through completion.Come with us as we head to our muster station in the Liquid Lounge and show what the experience was like before and after the actual safety briefing. We’re used to a quicker muster-station process on our recent cruises, so this full drill was a different experience. We heard the announcements and alarms, made our way to the Liquid Lounge, found our E5 muster area, and waited while everyone checked in. Our station shared the Liquid Lounge with E4, with E5 passengers seated in the elevated section and E4 on the main floor during our sailing. Once the actual safety briefing began, filming was not permitted. We arrived at the Liquid Lounge around 2:50 and were finished around 3:13. Knowing your assigned muster station ahead of time makes navigating the process easier. We were glad our station was inside with air conditioning, especially compared with outdoor muster drills we have experienced in the past.
