The Pacific Surfliner is one of Amtrak’s most busy routes, with more than 3 million travellers using the mainline rail service to travel along the Pacific Coastline of the United States each year. This video contains everything you need to know when before you travel on the Pacific Surfliner, including tips for luggage storage, seat selection, and when you should get to the station prior to boarding. The Pacific Surfliner starts from the Santa Fe Union Station in downtown San Diego, just steps away from the nearby waterfront where you can visit the USS Midway Museum, a former aircraft carrier of the US Navy that is now permanently station in San Diego.
