We’re setting sail from Brisbane on a **4-night cruise to the Whitsundays**, with a day in Airlie Beach. 🌴🚢 In Episode 1, it’s **CRUISE DAY!** 🎉 We take you along from arriving at the Brisbane cruise terminal and boarding Carnival Encounter to exploring the ship for the first time. We check out the pools and waterslides, make our first visit to The Pantry 🍰, grab some mocktails 🍹 and finally get into our **extended balcony cabin**. The cabin might be a little dated — and that bathroom is TINY 😂 — but that balcony definitely makes up for it! Then it’s time to sail away from Brisbane! ⚓ We enjoy sail away from our balcony before heading to dinner, exploring the bars, checking out the entertainment, seeing some comedy and finishing the night with karaoke. But the big question remains… **Is Carnival really as bad as the reviews say?** 🤔 We’re spending four nights onboard and giving Carnival Encounter a fair go before revealing our verdict at the end of the series.
