We Tried the Carnival EDGE Activities So You Don't Have To
Would You WALK THE PLANK on a Cruise Ship?! 😱🚢 | Carnival Encounter EDGE Review** #carnival #cruise #cruiselife Would you step out over the side of a cruise ship with nothing but the ocean below you?! 😱🌊 Join us as we check out the **EDGE activities aboard Carnival Encounter** and find out whether they’re actually worth the extra money. Carnival Encounter’s EDGE area offers activities including **rock climbing, cargo net, laser tag, Walk the Plank, Bridge Roof Walk, Beam Walk, Lean Out and the Titanic Experience**. In this video, we show you where to find EDGE on the ship — including the **secret door** 👀 — before Zac takes on **Walk the Plank!** And this one was definitely the better of the two activities we tried. 😬 📸 One thing to remember: if you want the professional photos from your experience, they cost extra. We chose our favourite Walk the Plank photo and purchased just that one. Next up was the **Bridge Walk**… Unfortunately, this wasn't quite what we expected. You only take a few steps out onto the bridge before spending a lot of the experience posing for photos. The view over **Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays** was fantastic, but we probably wouldn't choose this activity again. Our biggest tip? ⚠️ **DON'T rush into buying an EDGE pass before your cruise.** Some activities were unavailable during our sailing, including the zipline, and after trying a couple of the experiences we felt **pay-as-you-go may be the better option**. But if you're looking for something a little different — and you're brave enough to step out over the ocean — EDGE certainly makes for an interesting cruise experience! 😂 👇 **Would YOU Walk the Plank on Carnival Encounter?** 👍 Like & subscribe to **Wonder Down Under Travel** for more Carnival Encounter reviews, ship tours and cruise adventures!
