Holland America Evolution is a $500 million fleet transformation involving six Holland America ships — the largest fleet update in the cruise line’s 153-year history. But will Holland America keep the magic? We’re booked on one of the first post-Evolution sailings aboard Holland America Oosterdam. Our original December 2027 sailing was moved when Holland America accelerated Oosterdam’s Evolution schedule. The first post-Evolution sailing is now scheduled for October 31, 2027, and we’ll have 13 days aboard the newly transformed Oosterdam in November 2027. That means we’ll get to experience the changes firsthand and answer the question we explore throughout this video: Did Holland America keep the magic?
