Taste of Royal Lunch on Icon of the Seas WORTH IT? I paid $35 + 18% gratuity for the 4-course MDR lunch + full kitchen tour. I tried Taste of Royal Lunch on Icon of the Seas - Royal Caribbean's extra-charge lunch in the Main Dining Room on the final sea day. No menu choices, they serve it as is. I filmed every course plus a full Main Dining Room kitchen tour as a bonus. In this video: St. Peter's Spritzer welcome, Citrus Seas Tuna Tartare, Mascarpone Cheese Risotto with Crab Meat, Filet Mignon and Spicy Jumbo Shrimp, and Fried Cheesecake with Nutella and caramelized popcorn. Then behind the doors - ticket wall, cold station, hot pass, plating line, big grill, dessert finish, handwash stations, and waste sorting. I break down price, food, service, and if you should book it or skip it.
