Has this happened to you while cruising? Watch to listen. What would you do?
Upon arriving at the cabin door, I noticed that our key card had been opened. I figured someone made a mistake, and left the keys. As my husband and I walked in, I noticed the washcloth on the dresser, and thought, how strange. The toilet paper wrapper placed on the counter, was another red flag. The bed looked like it had been slept on and wrinkled. My immediate instinct was to contact guest services. I informed guest services of what I witnessed. Guest services informed me that they would send someone to freshen up the room. In 15 minutes or so, a gentleman came to freshen up the room. He had new bed sheets, but not a new blanket or towels. I informed him of my concerns, and I also left him a detailed note on the bathroom door. We then left the room. Upon returning to the room, I checked under the 🛌 bed. This was the first time we’ve had to deal with this. As cruisers, this can happen, but the bed being laid in and the bathroom usage took it down a different direction. Each key card has the names of the passengers. So, once you notice a mistake, you would not continue to enter the room, let along, make yourself at home. If you’ve had an incident like this, please share your experience. Let me know how you would handle that situation. My room attendant was notified, and he deeply apologized for something he had no control over. The hotel manager stopped by and offered covered strawberries for the issue. I told him that we did not like covered strawberries, he offered a bottle of wine, and I informed him that we do not drink, he offered a fruit bowl, I accepted. I should have asked for Evian water because finding the 1 liter bottles onboard is nearly impossible. If you like this video, please like and subscribe. Share the video too. Thank you
