Day 6 aboard Disney Adventure takes us from a peaceful Concierge morning to Marvel Landing, a special Disney royal tea party, waterslides, a relaxing Concierge sundeck afternoon, and an unforgettable $200-per-person, nine-course Omakase dinner at Mike & Sulley’s! Our jam-packed day begins with Peta’s early-morning acupuncture appointment at the Concierge-exclusive Opulence Spa. Afterward, she enjoys some quiet time in our Concierge stateroom, takes in the ocean views from our verandah, and then a delicious breakfast in the Concierge Lounge. Next, Allan, LJ, and Peta head to Marvel Landing to experience Pym Quantum Racers and Groot Galaxy Spin, which is the Disney Adventure version of a Dumbo-style ride at sea! We then race to O’hana Grill, hoping to squeeze in lunch together before our Royal Society for Friendship and Tea reservation. This special Disney Cruise Line tea party is designed for children up to age 12, accompanied by their grown-ups. We’ve experienced similar royal tea parties aboard Disney Wish and Disney Destiny, but with LJ now 11, this may be his final Disney tea party at sea until he has children of his own or accompanies a younger guest! That realization makes this experience especially meaningful for our family. After tea, we squeeze in a quick selfie with Captain Jack Sparrow and a not-so-quick professional photo session with Minnie Mouse before heading to the Disney Adventure waterslides. We eventually retreat to the Concierge sundeck, where Allan and LJ enjoy the pool while Peta takes a much-needed nap on one of the comfortable daybeds included with our Concierge experience. Then comes one of the biggest questions of our entire cruise: Is the nine-course Omakase experience at Mike & Sulley’s really worth $200 per person? You truly have to see this meal to believe it and decide whether you think it justifies the price. We also brought our 11-year-old along for the experience! Would you take an 11-year-old to a $200 Omakase dinner? Watch to see how LJ handled all nine courses and whether this premium Disney Adventure dining experience was worth the splurge for our family. We close out Day 6 with the evening production of Disney’s Remember, followed by included evening drinks in the Concierge Lounge before heading to bed.
