Some Cities Are Fed Up!
We discuss how Bar Harbor, Maine attempted to limit cruise ship passengers to 1,000 per day to protect their beautiful parks and community, but a federal judge ruled this restriction unconstitutional. The judge allowed the limit only during July and August, deeming year-round restrictions excessive. We explore the ongoing tension between cruise destinations and overtourism.
