Mystery Island Vanuatu. Things to do and see on the beautiful island. For a first visit, my top three would be snorkelling, walking around the entire island and spending a couple of hours on a quiet beach. Mystery Island is one port where trying to cram too much into the day can miss what makes it so good. There are great local tours run and are reasonably priced for what you get. A few things I would definitely take ashore: reef shoes, your own snorkel and mask if you have them, hat, sunscreen, water, towel, GoPro or similar and around AUD $50 to $100 in small notes. as handy for drinks and the markets. Mystery Island has limited facilities, no ATMs and very little fresh water.
