Currently onboard Royal Caribbean Ovation of the Seas in Alaska and we just received news that our Hubbard Glacier viewing has been cancelled following the recent disembarkation port change from Seward to Whittier. Many passengers are understandably disappointed because Hubbard Glacier was one of the highlights of this itinerary. The captain explained the change was made due to operational and timing concerns related to the Whittier tunnel and getting everyone home safely and on time. Still enjoying the beauty of Alaska, but definitely a disappointing update for many onboard.
