What was supposed to be a relaxing sea day on Carnival Splendor turned into the worst day I’ve ever had at sea. In this vlog, our scheduled stop at Moreton Island has been cancelled because a pilot was unavailable to bring in the tender operations. The letter explaining the cancellation ended up going viral, as this is a very rare reason for a cruise port cancellation. But behind the scenes, this day became much more personal. I was unwell from the morning and spent a large part of the day resting in bed. Later, I headed out to enjoy the Rock & Glow party… and that’s when everything changed. I suffered a heartbreaking major injury that has potentially changed my life and the way I cruise going forward. This video captures the day as it unfolded, even though I had no idea at the time how significant it would become. 🎥 In this vlog: * Moreton Island cancellation explained * The viral pilot letter * What happens on a Carnival Splendor sea day * Rock & Glow party footage * The day that changed my cruising journey If you’ve ever had a cruise itinerary change unexpectedly, or experienced a moment that completely changed a holiday, I’d love to hear your story in the comments. ❤️ Thank you for being part of the Cruise Crazed Fam and for all the support during this journey. #CarnivalSplendor #CruiseCrazedFam #SeaDay #CarnivalCruise #MoretonIsland #CruiseVlog #CruiseNews #RockAndGlow #CruiseLife #CruisingAustralia
