How to SAVE $$$ on Your HOLLAND AMERICA Cruise
Want to save money on your next Holland America cruise? Follow these 10 tips from Cruise Tips with Christina to save hundreds of dollars (literally!). Summary of How to Save Money on a Holland America Cruise 1. Don't Book Directly with Holland America Cruise Line (Book with VacationtToGo.com, Costco, BJs, or your local travel agent. You can also use AARP gift cards for a 10% discount) 2. Don't get the Have It All Package (It's amazing, but it will end up costing you $770/week for a 1-week cruise.) 3. Skip the HAL Excursions (Take a local taxi or use ShoreExcursionsGroup.com, Viator, or Trip Advisor instead.) 4. Buy Carnival stock for the Shareholder's Benefit 5. Book your hotels directly 6. Uber to the cruise 7. Say "no" to the spa (it's expensive!) 8. Look at your online cruise account statement frequently 9. Avoid the specialty restaurants (although they are great!) 10. Skip the Wi-Fi (if you must get it, I recommend the Surf package). Some people say that you can save money on your Holland America cruise by booking 2-3 months out, but I haven't found that to be the case (personally).
