It’s mid-April… it’s snowing… and we’re packing for a cruise to Mexico. This feels right. Watch our packing day… and honestly, the timing couldn’t be better. It’s mid-April in Canada, it’s snowing outside, and we fly to San Diego to start our 7-Day Baja Peninsula cruise with Holland America. Safe to say… we’re ready for some sun. In this video, we walk through exactly how we pack for a cruise — not perfectly, not minimally, just realistically. We cover: * Steph’s packing method (start with everything… then remove half of it 😄) * Using packing cubes vs not using them (we disagree on this one) * What goes in our carry-on vs checked bag * Cruise essentials like door magnets, luggage tags, and backup clothes * Outfits for things like Orange Night, dinners, and sea days * Shoes, toiletries, and “just in case” items like rain jackets * Our full tech setup for filming the cruise (camera gear, mics, 360 cam, etc.) This is not a “perfect packing list” video. It’s how we actually prepare for a cruise — a little overpacking, a little adjusting, and a lot of excitement to finally get going. By the end of this video, everything is packed, organized, and ready… and the next time you see us, we’ll be heading to the ship. The Baja cruise series officially starts now.
