Before our most recent cruise, we had only ever stayed in balcony cabins and absolutely loved them. But with balcony cabins often costing significantly more, we decided to try an inside cabin to see if the savings were really worth it. We talk about what surprised us most, including how we made the smaller space work, what we missed from having a balcony, and how staying in an inside cabin completely changed how we used the ship. We also share how the Waterfront on Deck 8 became our go-to spot and felt like a huge shared balcony, with the added bonus of bars, bartenders, and great ocean views.
