Carnival Sunrise Embarkation Day Lunch - Cucina del Capitano: Pasta Bar Review & Tips
We tried the Cucina del Capitano lunch pasta bar on Carnival Sunrise on embarkation day! Come along as we figure out how the lunch check-in works, build our made-to-order pasta bowls, and give you our honest thoughts on whether it’s a good alternative to the busy embarkation-day buffet. What We Ordered: • Joe: Penne with Pomodoro sauce, Italian sausage, onions and peppers • Teresa: Linguine with Pomodoro sauce, grilled chicken and cherry tomatoes • We also tried two of the breads served with lunch We’ll take you through the entire experience — from finding the correct check-in area to ordering our pasta and, of course, tasting everything. What did we think? We both really enjoyed the Pomodoro sauce, and Joe especially liked the flavor and slight heat of the Italian sausage. His onions were a little firmer than he prefers, but overall both dishes were a hit.
