Alaskan cruise starting port

Your Alaska cruise vacation will be awesome, but there are some logistical considerations regarding the starting point for embarkation day. You can take a round-trip out of Seattle or Vancouver which easily gets you into large international airports. Or you can take a one way north or south trip that includes Whittier or Sitka, Alaska. If you do that, depending on your starting point, you will have to first get to or eventually fly out of Anchorage, Alaska, which is another four hours north of Vancouver and Seattle, and you may have to consider your time and budget just a little bit more.
