I just spent 7 nights onboard Celebrity Silhouette, one of Celebrity Cruises’ Solstice-class ships, and in this full cruise review I’m sharing what the experience was really like. In this video, I’ll cover the ship itself, the food, service, entertainment, activities, cabins, daily planners, bars, drink package value, and whether Celebrity Silhouette still feels worth booking today. Celebrity Silhouette is very similar to Celebrity Reflection, but this sailing gave me a much better look at how this ship holds up for a full 7-night Bermuda cruise. Celebrity Silhouette is not a brand-new mega ship, and it is not trying to be Celebrity Xcel or one of the newer Edge-class ships. This is a more classic, relaxed Celebrity cruise experience. Some parts of the ship still feel beautiful and well maintained, while other areas show age, wear, and signs that a refresh would help. I’ll also talk about what surprised me most, including the service, the buffet, the main dining room, specialty dining, entertainment, and whether this ship is better for someone who wants a calm premium cruise rather than nonstop mega-ship energy.
