Our Final Sea Day 😢 | Cake Me Away, Packing & Saying Goodbye 🚢 | Day 7

Our final sea day brought cake, tea, packing, one last amazing dinner… and the reality that tomorrow we go home. Welcome to Day 7, our final full day aboard Holland America’s Zaandam on our 7-Day Baja Peninsula cruise. How are we already here? The last sea day always feels different. You’re still enjoying the ship, the food, the views, and all your favourite routines… but there’s that feeling in the back of your mind that tomorrow it’s over. This day had a little bit of everything. We started with breakfast and ocean views, learned more about what really happens behind the scenes to keep a cruise ship running, and then made our way to one of our favourite Holland America traditions… Cake Me Away. Yes, it was exactly as delicious as it sounds. The day also included games, tea time, a little shopping, some last-minute packing, and one final dinner in the main dining room with the crew farewell celebration, which always hits a little emotionally. We wrapped up the night the best way we knew how, watching Scarlett at the piano bar, soaking in the final evening onboard, and trying not to think too much about disembarkation.
