Cruise Ship Mein Schiff 3 Crashes into Cargo Ship
Mein Schiff 3 just crashed into a cargo ship while departing Bremerhaven in high seas. Here's what we know... Collision during departure: On 25 October 2026, while attempting to leave the cruise terminal in Bremerhaven, Germany, strong storm winds pushed the vessel off course, causing it to collide with container ships moored nearby. No injuries reported: Despite the impact, none of the 2,428 passengers or 922 crew members on board were injured. Significant external damage: The crash destroyed several lifeboats and damaged their supporting cranes, in addition to scraping the ship's outer hull. Cruise cancellation: The scheduled 20-night voyage to the Canary Islands was cancelled, and all passengers were disembarked the following morning.
