The Women's Extreme Waterfall Dive Championship! (And a $52 Coke) Port Vila Vanuatu Cruise Port Day
Port Vila, Vanuatu was supposed to be a simple cruise port day… but things got a little out of hand. 😂 We came into Port Vila, Vanuatu on our cruise and decided to turn a normal port day into an adventure. We headed out to explore the island, chase waterfalls, and experience some of what makes Vanuatu such an incredible destination. Then we decided to make things competitive. Welcome to the Women’s Extreme Waterfall Dive Championship! 🏆💦 With absolutely no official organization, questionable judging, and some very questionable diving techniques, we put together our own little competition to see who could make the best jump. And yes… there was prize money. 😂 The competition gets even better when Lindsey “Feet First” enters the contest. Who wins? Who gets robbed by the judges? And most importantly… how did a Coke end up costing $52?! 🥤💰 This was one of those cruise port days where we had no idea exactly what we were getting ourselves into, and it turned into one of the most memorable adventures of the trip. 🌴 PORT VILA, VANUATU Port Vila is the capital of Vanuatu and one of the South Pacific's most interesting cruise destinations. Instead of spending the entire day around the cruise terminal, we wanted to get out and see what the island had to offer. We explored the area, made our way to the waterfall, and eventually found ourselves jumping into the water. 🏆 THE WOMEN'S EXTREME WATERFALL DIVE CHAMPIONSHIP The rules were simple: Jump. Don't die. Get judged. Okay… maybe the rules weren't that simple. We turned the waterfall into a completely unofficial diving competition with rankings, prize money, and some very questionable judging. And Lindsey's “Feet First” technique may or may not have been strategically brilliant. 💰 THE $52 COKE Somewhere along the way, we encountered what may be one of the most expensive Cokes we've ever purchased. $52. Yes. A Coke.
