The TRUTH About the Norwegian Breakaway to Bermuda (What Went Wrong!)
What happens when you book a dream cruise to Bermuda, but the weather has completely different plans? In this vlog, we are taking you inside the Norwegian Breakaway, but we are showing you the absolute truth about what happens when things don't go according to the itinerary. We started our journey boarding the Norwegian Breakaway in New York City in the freezing rain, heading out to Bermuda instead of the Caribbean! Right away, we ran into massive lines just trying to get our specialty dining reservations and complete our muster station drills. But the real star of the first day was our incredible Aft Balcony room! We give you a full stateroom tour, showing off the upgraded USB-C ports, the hidden pull-out storage under the couch, and that amazing aft view of the ship's wake. Our food tour on the ship was absolutely massive! We hit up O'Sheehan's for a Wrangler burger and Fish and Chips to start the trip, visited the Manhattan Club for cheese ravioli and roasted chicken, and checked out the American Diner for a BBQ sandwich and whitefish dip. We even tried the Silver Screen Bistro for dinner and a movie, feasting on beef short ribs and lobster stuffing! But Day 2 brought rough seas that rocked the ship, and when we finally arrived in Bermuda, the massive storms followed us! With our Horseshoe Bay beach excursion completely canceled and the cave tours packed with a nearly two-hour wait, we had to totally pivot our plans. We ended up exploring the Clock Tower Mall, hiding from the rain in the Bermuda Aquarium, and touring a 400-year-old historic Bermudan home. Eventually, we sought shelter in St. George at the White Horse Pub! You already know we had to try the famous Bermuda Rum Swizzle and a Dark & Stormy while eating the local "fish triangle" featuring wahoo and snapper!
