We wanted a taste of a Wyoming winter. What we got was the full-on Siberian experience. This wasn't just "jacket weather" cold. This was a deep, biting, relentless cold that we were not prepared for. We had this whole plan for a fun, cozy winter trip. but Wyoming, apparently, had other plans. The arctic blast that rolled in not only messed with our itinerary, but left us stranded. It turned into a desperate hunt for warmth, food, and discovery in the heart of Casper to keep our minds off the cold.
