Celebrity Summit Review 2026: Is This 25-Year-Old Cruise Ship Still Worth It?
Is Celebrity Summit still worth booking in 2026? After spending a full week aboard Celebrity Summit, we can tell you this 25-year-old cruise ship surprised us - and became one of our favorite ships. In this Celebrity Summit review, we're sharing what we loved, what we didn't, and who we think this ship is really for. Celebrity Summit may have launched more than two decades ago, but after a major renovation, we were impressed by how fresh, bright, comfortable, and well maintained the ship felt. In fact, we've sailed newer ships that didn't impress us nearly as much. But Summit isn't for everyone. If you're looking for giant water slides, surf simulators, ice rinks, huge numbers of specialty restaurants, or all the attractions found on today's mega-ships, this probably isn't the cruise ship for you. If you'd rather have excellent service, very good food, live entertainment, comfortable public spaces, a relaxing adults-only solarium, and a more traditional cruise experience without walking miles around a gigantic ship, Celebrity Summit may be exactly what you're looking for.
