Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas has been stuck in New Jersey since Sunday after plans to beat a storm fell through. The ship was originally set to visit Port Canaveral and Nassau, but now guests will only stop at Perfect Day at Coco Cay on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. As a former cruise director, I’ve seen this before — hurricane season always brings surprises.
