Carnival Is Cracking Down: 10 Rules You DON’T Want to Break!
Carnival cruise rules are getting serious. In this Carnival Cruise Line guide, we break down 10 Carnival cruise rules, cruise tips, $500 fines, smoking, youth curfew, check-in and final boarding time. Is Carnival really cracking down? There has been a lot of talk lately about Carnival Cruise Line enforcing its onboard rules more aggressively, but not everything being discussed online is actually new. In this video, we go through 10 Carnival cruise rules every cruiser should understand before boarding. Some violations can result in a $500 charge, removal from the ship, or even restrictions on future Carnival cruises. We cover Carnival’s Code of Conduct, marijuana and drug policies, smoking and vaping rules, chair saving, the youth curfew, muster requirements, power strips and surge protectors, Cruise Elegant dress guidelines, online check-in, and one of the most important things on your boarding pass — your Final Boarding Time. We also explain the difference between your arrival appointment and your Final Boarding Time, why you should never cut your arrival too close, and which Carnival policies are established rules versus things that are actually getting more attention because of enforcement. If you have a Carnival cruise coming up, knowing these rules ahead of time can help you avoid unnecessary charges, frustration, confiscated items, or potentially missing your cruise altogether. Have you sailed Carnival recently? Have you noticed the crew enforcing these rules more than they used to? Let us know what you experienced in the comments.
