50th Birthday Cruise on Celebrity Xcel Day 4 - Part 24 Cozumel, Mexico

We just pulled into Cozumel… and WAIT until you see what we’re docked next to 😳🚢 Even thought Xcel is Celebrity Cruises’s biggest ship in it’s fleet you feel small next to this giant. The ship we docked next to is Royal Caribbean’s massive Star of the Seas, a ship I have yet to visit one day. 💡 Fun fact: Cozumel is one of the busiest cruise ports in the Caribbean, welcoming millions of visitors each year—and it’s known for its crystal-clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and easy access transportation right from the pier. But instead of heading straight into the port… we did what seasoned travelers do and what my daughter suggested. 😉 We grabbed a quick cab (and trust me, there are PLENTY waiting right outside the port ready to take you anywhere!) and went off to find something even better—local flavor. 🌴 This is what travel is all about—stepping just a little off the beaten path and finding those unforgettable moments.
