Why We Bought a Cabin on a Ship | Our Full Story
We bought a cabin on a ship. Not for a vacation. Not for a few months. We made it our home. In this video, we’re sharing the full story of how two ordinary people ended up living full-time aboard the Villa Vie Odyssey, a residential cruise ship that travels the world continuously. From running businesses and living a traditional life on land to selling possessions, taking a leap of faith, and moving onto a ship, this journey has been anything but ordinary. We’ll share: ⚓ Why we decided to leave land life behind ⚓ How we discovered residential cruising ⚓ What it actually costs to live on a ship ⚓ The delays and challenges we faced before boarding ⚓ What daily life is really like onboard ⚓ The biggest surprises along the way ⚓ Whether this lifestyle has been worth it We’re not retired. We still work remotely while traveling the world. This lifestyle isn’t for everyone, but for us it became a chance to stop waiting for “someday” and start living now. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s really like to live on a cruise ship full-time, this is our story. 🛳️ WATCH NEXT Life Onboard the Villa Vie Odyssey Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLdtPbhkMTVCX5wop5SCSsChXqOS2_-kPa Move-In Day Video: https://youtu.be/Am3hYL9o3ic Ship Tour Video: https://youtu.be/vgklJ_Eijco ⸻ 🌎 FOLLOW OUR JOURNEY Track our real-time location: https://livinglifeonacruise.com/realtime/ All Our Links: https://linktr.ee/livinglifeonacruise ⸻ 📸 CRUISE LIFE GEAR WE ACTUALLY USE https://livinglifeonacruise.com/cruise-life-gear-we-actually-use/ (Some links may be affiliate links, which help support our channel at no extra cost to you.) ⸻ ❤️ ABOUT US We’re Lanette and Johan.
