Is there such a thing as adventure for people who aren't super adventurous? 🌟 YES. And this is it. 🌅 I'm not the person jumping off cliffs 🧗♀️ or doing extreme excursions, but I still love experiencing something beautiful 🌺 and different when we travel. This nature walk at Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point (Disney's newest private destination that just opened in 2024!) is literally PERFECT for people like me. 🌍 It's right there when you get off the tram 🚋 - you can't miss it. Takes maybe 15-20 minutes ⏱️ to walk the whole trail, and it's incredibly accessible ♿ (wheelchairs and ECVs totally work here, just a couple little bumpy bits). What you'll see: 🌊 gorgeous ocean views that honestly surprised me, ancient limestone rock formations 🪨 that are part of the Bahamian karst geology, educational signs about the native wildlife 🦎 and ecosystems, and if you're lucky - lizards, crabs 🦀, and tropical birds! 🦜 We did this first thing in the morning 🌅 as soon as we got off the Disney Fantasy, and it was the perfect way to start our day on the island. Peaceful, beautiful, and something most people don't even know exists. 😊 Oh, and did I mention it's FREE? 💸 Included with your cruise. No extra cost. This is the kind of "just enough" adventure that makes me so happy. 🌈 Beautiful views, a little nature 🌿, something different than what we see back home in Canada 🇨🇦 - perfection.
