Join us for Day 5 of our 7-night Alaska cruise on the MSC Poesia as we sail through the beautiful Endicott Arm to Dawes Glacier. 🚢 We spend the morning taking in the turquoise water, floating icebergs, waterfalls, seals, and dramatic mountain scenery before getting one of our closest views yet of Dawes Glacier. Afterward, we enjoy brunch at Le Fontaine Restaurant and some onboard activities before the MSC Poesia makes its way toward Juneau, Alaska for our afternoon adventure. In Juneau, we head ashore for our trolley ride to Mendenhall Glacier with Juneau Tours. Along the way, we get a narrated tour as we pass through downtown Juneau, taking in the beautiful scenery while the guide points out some of the city’s well-known sights, surrounding mountains, and other interesting spots along the route. Once at Mendenhall Glacier, we explore the visitor center, walk out to Nugget Falls, and enjoy the views of Mendenhall Glacier and Mendenhall Lake before heading back toward the ship. We finish the day with a beautiful sail away from Juneau, a late dinner at the buffet, a stop at the Silent Disco, and comedy in the theater.
