Looking for the best thing to do in Costa Maya on a cruise? On this visit to Costa Maya, Mexico, we discovered what might be our new favorite beach club near the cruise port — Malecon 21. Instead of staying in the busy cruise port area, we took a short $5 taxi ride down the beautiful Malecon to this hidden gem. And wow… what a difference! At Malecon 21, guest capacity is limited to around 40 people per day, which means you get a peaceful beach day, incredible service, delicious food, and stunning ocean views without the crowds. In this video we show you exactly what to expect, including: • How to get to Malecon 21 from the Costa Maya cruise port • Taxi cost and travel time • Beach club packages (we tried the Silver Package) • The incredible food (shrimp tacos & herb-crusted salmon!) • Beach massages and prices • The beautiful beach and relaxing atmosphere • Shopping and walking along the Malecon • Why the service here was some of the best we've ever experienced From the moment we arrived, the staff — including Fernando, Abraham, and Jonathan — made sure our day was perfect. They even tracked down a Diet Coke from a nearby store just to make sure we had exactly what we wanted! If you're cruising to Costa Maya, Mexico, and looking for a relaxing beach day away from the crowded port area, Malecon 21 might be the perfect choice.
